Woah, a new camera!But I was in Hamilton this Friday waiting for a friend to get out of school (half days off of work for shopping/errands are great...) and I stop by this tech store.
I've been bugging myself for ages about buying a camera, and so I went and looked at the ones on display.
As far as price tags go, they were ranging from $1,200 to $200.
The 1.2k cameras were really nice, but massive and used for proffessional photography, I just wanted a point and shooter.
In the end I settled (happily) with a Olympus 720SW.
This thing is bad-ass. Waterproof (10feet) and shockproof (5feet) and at 7.1MP with enough features to let me take relatively complex photos, makes me a happy camper.
I'll be posting a few shots this week and I'll be playing with digital manipulation as soon as I finish fucking around with the settings. xD
